Every scientist he interacted with never wore any timepieces nor had a phone on them. Peter had tried to find both with little success.
He didn't regret getting in the way to prevent Donnie from being captured, but it didn't negate the exhaustion Peter was feeling now. It didn't change the amount of experiments already done on him in the name of science for these people in SHIELD.
