I'd probably be more confident, but about the only color I've worn that isn't black in just over two years has been Robin's Egg blue. And the person I'd normally turn to is one of the ones I'm thinking of making a gift for.
It's not just color, I'll probably need advising on exact fabric type and other such things. It wasn't quite so important as when making quilted armor, that just involved as many layers as would be feasible.
Oooh the old 'limited options in order to surprise someone' situation, yeah I get ya. I mean black's good for a lot of things but you gotta have some variety.
Yeah, I'll help with that, no biggie. Depends if the fabric ruin is open but I can always double check and we can figure it out when they are open. Thank goodness I'm not just using bedsheets still.

In my instance, the black was for mourning. I was very fond of white and blue before then.
Egg has some stored away, but I'll just trust you in whether it's a good shot. You do this often, after all.
Either way, it's on youn own time. No rush.
