[Peter moves to just join Leo where he's likely seated. Unsurprisingly, he invades his boyfriends space, holding his phone out to Leo if he wants to look.]
Some dude re-made it? And looks like everyone is arguing.
I mean, given that video that went up about Ms. Nia, its not too much of a surprise.
Human nature. Open space to talk, immediately fight. [He agrees with a laugh, well aware he's included in on that. He's just lanky and practically in Leo's lap at this point.
His gaze flicks back to the network on display.] ...Okay, I guess everyone is figuring out where we're supposed to go?
[Not everyone can be so lucky as to be born human!! Or have their own magic to glamour themselves. Leo just kind of leans his head against Peter's shoulder with an annoyed groan.]
[Whilst Peter is just unaware for the moment, having assumed he's just missed Hob in the halls somehow. The way Leo tenses doesn't go unnoticed, which just makes Peter's frown a little more worried. He coaxes his fingers along his boyfriend's shell soothingly.]
I don't think it'd be safe for Rue after a while. I dunno how exactly their magic works, but, it would be a lot of strain. [He already knows Cortana needs a lot of extra help on everything else.] Like, Donnie and I could probably reverse engineer the tech for disguises, but... if anything broke we'd have to scavenge for workable parts. That's if we can find the schematics.
Same for maintenance for Cortana. She needs the tech here to really live.
[He doesn't really get the specifics of it, all nerd tech stuff, but what he does understand? Is ADI unfortunately has the resources they need to exist and live. And the humans don't give a shit, as usual. He's lucky Peter cares at all, their relationship being a thing or not.
He leans in to the affection, leaning his head back.]
Yeah, it seems like it. [Peter says with a sigh. The more he thinks about it, the less likely it is for anyone not outwardly human to leave. He continues just offering his boyfriend affection, finding comfort in that as much as he's offering comfort.]
Why am I not surprised Captain America of all people is really gung-ho about leaving? [Peter says with a sigh as his gaze settles back on the comments.]
[Sorry... Human bullshit... He doesn't know or understand any of it. But the affection is comforting, helping ease some of the anxiety he's got about hearing all this.]
He's a superhero from my world. He's kinda prone to just jumping into stuff without too much of a plan? If something seems wrong he has to fix it right now. So, it looks like he wants to just leave right now.
[Peter is honest as he adds.] Like, I can't say too much, I mean, I've done the same stuff, but... I'm a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, not, someone whose world famous for fighting Nazi's.
Yeah, I respect him for just- getting stuff done I guess? [Peter couldn't disagree on that part.] He also just kinda does stuff and everyone else has to deal with the backlash? I mean, he made superheroes super illegal back home. So, if I was ever outed, I'd go to jail kinda thing.
Yeah, same here. [Peter respects Captain America, but, he has to draw a line somewhere.] It'll probably be pointless, but... I can at least ask him to consider anyone who isn't human if he tries to make this a thing.
[Peter releases a little frustrated breath at that. The injustice of the situation frustrating him.] That isn't fair though. He should listen to you guys directly, instead of taking my word for it because I'm human.
[Peter just continues his loose lazy ministrations against Leo's shell.]
[How relaxing that feels is in opposition to how annoyed he feels at the whole situation.]
Hate to say it, but kinda used to that. Not like we had any say in anything back home considering... Not a human, not a youkai, but a secret third thing.
[His boyfriend half quoting a meme back at him earns a soft amused huff from Peter. The moment of levity doesn't last particularly long.] I wish you didn't have to be so used to it. Much less when we're all brought here to help. We can't do anything if we don't all help each other.
[Peter laughs a little at that, warming up at the affection. Shifting just enough so he can press a kiss against the turtle's snout.] I think you're just here to set the standard for looking good. Then you blew it out of the water.
[He wants to say that compliment with bravado, but just ends up looking smitten as he smiles at Leo.]

[He walks back to the living room, his phone in hand.] I got one of the pop ups they send us, and there was a link.
[He realizes how dumb that sounds.] I know how to avoid malware, trust me, it's just... actually a network again?
no subject
But that's... Weird.

Some dude re-made it? And looks like everyone is arguing.
I mean, given that video that went up about Ms. Nia, its not too much of a surprise.

Love that. Humans get a network back and the first thing they do is start arguing.

His gaze flicks back to the network on display.] ...Okay, I guess everyone is figuring out where we're supposed to go?

[He didn't read too much into what was being argued about, but that has his attention now.]
Where else are we supposed to go.
no subject
[There is no way all of them can go into Bonnie's flop house.] People don't want to stay here because Ms. Nia was corrupted by the entity.

[Not everyone can be so lucky as to be born human!! Or have their own magic to glamour themselves. Leo just kind of leans his head against Peter's shoulder with an annoyed groan.]
I'm prob'ly stuck here.
no subject
You and anyone who isn't human don't... really have a choice. You, Donnie, Rue, Hob, Cortana...
[He's unaware of Hob's disappearance just yet.]
no subject
Yeah. I know Rue has their glamour magic, but I dunno what that'd do here and if they can just keep it up nonstop on all of us.
no subject
I don't think it'd be safe for Rue after a while. I dunno how exactly their magic works, but, it would be a lot of strain. So basically we're stuck.

Hm. I mean, good for him for that, but he should think ahead more. Or about others.

So yeah, gonna put my vote against that guy then.

Wait, you guys have been helping?! Was I supposed to be doing that this whole time?

[He wants to say that compliment with bravado, but just ends up looking smitten as he smiles at Leo.]
