[Peter's grip tightens a little as Leo sprints faster. He really wishes he could just stick right now.
He laughs a little nervously as he glances back the way they came.] Oh thank god, I dunno how we'd fight a giant skeleton horse right now.
[He awkwardly tries to disentangle himself from Leo without dropping the pizza in the process. His feet hit the ground unsteadily and he wobbles to the side.]
[Oh this is definitely something he has to contend with in the very near future, feeling Peter's arms around his neck like this. That's new and he does not have the time or mental bandwidth to deal with that.
Soon as Peter's trying to get out of his arms, Leo lets him as carefully as he can just watching him for the moment how Peter moves.]
I mean. I'd be able to do it just fine. I've fought worse.
I'd actually want to help in a fight, but I- can't right now. [That is the most frustrating part if anything. Peter hates feeling so helpless like this. He knows he's more than just brute strength, but it doesn't mean he doesn't feel its absence.
Peter is over-correcting some of his movements as he straightens himself out. He's overly careful with how he steps and moves, as if wary of using too much strength somehow. Adding it to how much he hunches into himself, its an odd combination.]
Which is really frustrating, I can do things, but I can't now-? I don't get why things have to be like this. [He twists back around to look at Leo whilst trying to walk forward.
Unsurprisingly, it doesn't work great. There he goes, tripping over his own feet in the process.]

[He sees Peter's balance giving before Peter probably even realizes it. Shit the pizza, he reaches to help Peter, gets an arm around his waist to catch him.]
Because this place is stupid.... [Blinks once at him, just. Holding Peter up by the waist like this. Uh.
[Peter's mind is also on the pizza. Save the pizza! After everything, he doesn't want to lose their bounty. He fumbles to keep the box close as he goes down.
Then Leo catches him at the waist, keeping him from falling.
Oh, Leo is strong. Very strong. Peter turns a little pink at the ears. He laughs a little. No one usually catches him like this. He looks down at Leo, just kind of stunned for the moment.
Yeah he's gonna have to figure this out later, ignore how his face feels like it's heating up.]
Yeah. Def, uh. The pizza, y'know?
[Christ, Leo. Get it together. He shifts to help Peter back to his feet upright and definitely not thinking about that. He dusts his hands off making a show of it.]
Oh yeah, definitely the pizza. We couldn't waste it. [He agrees hurriedly, turning a little redder now. He steadies himself out with Leo's help. Peter is still overly course correcting his movements, but very aware of walking.
He can totally walk, this is fine. Normal.]
We- should definitely eat the pizza. Before it gets cold.
[He gestures a bit grandly over the box in his grasp.]
Your place or mine-?
[The implication behind that phrasing goes over his head, Peter just wants to eat pizza and talk about something both of them are cool with.]
[Nevermind it's been tossed around in that box and is probably a fucking mess by now, it's still pizza and Leo's had worse. He clears his throat and starts walking to the building's front doors.]
I still haven't really like. Met? My roommates properly, so probably yours.
