As they step through the top of the stairway door, the room before them opens to a wide, large arena with a sand floor, wooden barricades and circled on all sides by stands. While there is no visible crowd watching, an audible, deafening cheer rings out at their entrance. The Battle Nexus screens light up above the stands to show everyone that has entered. Scattered around the arena are discarded fan-made signs for the battle. To the left of the entrance is a wall of weapons to choose from - blades, bo staves, sai, chakrams, all sorts of weapons, as well as a plant-looking ring with an eye inset in it and a matching ring. On the other side of he entrance is a glass case containing a single a pink-purple colored disc the size of a quarter. As they step further in, a single figure enters from the other end of the arena, cloaked in dark grays and blacks and holding a sword in their left hand.

[ Hunter hurries in after the other two, gripping his staff even harder as he sees where they are? He recognizes the concept if not the specifics. ]

Is this an actual place you've been? Do you just - go fight in a battle arena sometimes??

[His eyes trail to the sword. So how familiar is that?]

This is Big Mama's place. Criminal mastermind. This isn't exactly a place you want to be in.

Be ready to port, Hunter.

[ Raph meanwhile over here like dang, I just remembered how the first choice I made in my first game was a trap, maybe I shouldn't get a door vote until I feel like I'm on a better luck streak. ]

Bad news all around.

[The crowd is cheering now, chanting.

Fight! Fight! Fight!

The fighter across the way starts stepping closer, twirling the sword in his left hand preparing.]

We may have to back off. [Stepping back towards the way they came.]

Pretty sure he did this same trick in Hunter. Would track with what he said. Come in with a strategy.

[ Hunter eyes the approaching swordsturtle, ready to blink if he needs to. ]

Couldn’t we just fight him?

Fighting Guard wasn't the answer, it was just the way to get to the answer.

Back off, we should take more care.

I'm with Donnie on this one. Normally I'd be all in on goin' right for the fight part, but a sneaky bad guy and Leo's brain?

[ Not worth risking messing Leo Actual up, gunning for it. ]

We gotta work smarter, not smashier. Make sure we got all the angles.

[TO TRY AND BACK OUT OF THE ROOM.]

[Hand on the bottom end of his Bo Staff, just in case.]

Okay, okay! I can do that.

[ He follows them out. ]

[ALL RIGHT, if nothing stops him, he's grabbing the collar and ring.]

[Also....a tanto blade. Keep options open for dealing with Goo and he can't guarantee something won't limit fabrications.]

[Yep free to grab! Except now that the Champion's been defeated elsewhere, the arena is dead silent. Just some wind passing over all the fan-made signs on the ground.]

[Eerie.]

[He'll take a look at those signs as he goes to the probably-teleporting disk.]

[See if that's snatchable.]

[You gotta break the glass if you want it. But nothing's here to stop Donnie.

But the signs are all handwritten, mostly hand drawn of Leo dressed in the Lou Jitsu costume with some affirming YOU GOT THIS! type hype-manning up.]

[Hmmm.]

[He will just take a brief moment and probably an assortment of pointy things to just hang up these 'you got this' signs.]

[Fricking]

[Love yourself dumb dumb.]

[Then he'll go break the glass.]

[As Donnie picks up that sign and reads it, he'll hear Leo's voice

"You got this! Just make it through, and everything'll be fine!

And that familiar blue ninpo sparks electric from the sign, trailing up Donnie's arm and covering him for just a moment in the sparking energy before it fades again.

You got an extra Something to use later.]

[Okay, will do a fly around, see if there's anything interesting in the stands or like Big Mama's box.]

[Just more of those hype signs. Looks like this room was made solely to slow them down if they'd fought here.]

[Well, good they just bounced.]
