The view of a bright, angry magenta sky with the atmosphere just above them, an open portal. The air is filled with debris of the invasion - bits of buildings, pieces of cars, day to day life that got sucked up in the destruction.
Leo lands with a breath, kneeling down and watches as the alien-cat-robot suit slams its fist into the weaker shield Donnie made. He sees them go flying, who knows how fast into the air and away, further than the gravity of the Technodrome can hold on to them. His twin tried, and took the brunt of the hit in front of Mikey. But watching them go is too much. He can't do it.
He knows. He knows that second what's going to happen. His eyes fill to the brim with tears as he blinks once to unsuccessfully get them out. Then turns to Raph.
Raph. Go!
Their older brother immediately understands this part of the plan. Go through the portal Leo makes to get them.]
The Technodrome bridge. Kraang seated on the throne watching as Raph, covered and controlled by Kraang goop stalks toward Leo. Leo begging Raph to listen. He doesn't want to fight.
But the fight does start.

Shredder destroying the wall of the room they found safety in for just a moment - Cassandra's voice rings out.
"Shredder! Destroy your enemies!"
It happens so fast. It happens too fast, Shredder leaping into action at Donnie and Raphael jumping over to protect him. Leo's mind immediately goes to their baby brother, Mikey, his carapace not quite fully hardened to what it will be when they're older. He has to protect him, he has to shield him from it, even as he desperately looks to Splinter, Dad!.]
