[This one is labeled with [DATE who cares Space doesn't know the date] 2018, still with Leonardo's handwriting.
Oooh my god I can't deal with dad's jumping jack robe anymore. How do we get him to stop using it? We got him the new one and he won't use it! We went through ALL OF THAT for him to just put it away??? Maybe I can find a wood chipper out in Queens to dump it into, gah it's so gross I don't even wanna touch it, I'll grab some gloves or something. Why doesn't Dad want to use the robe we worked hard for and bought him?
Does he just not want it? Does he not want what we got him?]
[He really worries a lot, doesn't he? Thinking that their dad didn't like it, that it wasn't about cherishing it....or messing with them. Donnie could say its either way, honestly.]
[Returning the book and picking up another.]
[He may just read all of them, he reads fast, it wouldn't take too long-]
Man I love Raph, and we don't do a lot of stuff he wants to do but it's Always wrestling with this guy. I'm bored just watching this. The walk ins are cool but it's not even fun tricking people, it's just obviously fake. I dunno what he gets out of this. But it makes him happy so I'll sit around. Oh- between matches, maybe I can get him riled up-
Okay so SHELLDON is not working out, we gotta fix this before he starts taking US out. We'll mess with some wires, make SHELLDON want to be OUR brother instead. Donnie will be furious not only by that but that we messed with his wiring, and he'll HAVE to admit he rigged SHELLDON's programming against us which is really all I want to hear, some honesty under that ego. He'll try to get us to admit we messed with it first but we can't look like we're going to crack, but he'll take our refusal to say anything as admittance and then we can get either Don or SHELLDON to admit the programming bias-]
[...okay, definitely a little judgement here. Sure, he programmed a bias, but really, honesty under ego? Mister having some kind of mid-life crisis as a teenager with the amount of insecurity covered by ego.]
[Though looking it over again, because its about him directly, he has to, he does notice that first part.]
[Taking them out.]
[Did he really think it was that common his machines would?]
[He frowns, before closing the book and moving to the next one.]
Found Donnie again. The construction up top has been really rough on him. Dad hasn't gotten out of bed in a while and Raph's looking after him, Mike's too young so -
I'll look after Donnie. He seems to do all right if I just sit close by and wait. The others aren't as good at finding his hiding spots so I'll take care of it and make sure he's okay. He still hasn't started talking so maybe he needs something else to talk with. I saw on one of Dad's shows people talking with their hands so maybe that can help-]
[The first thing that catches his attention is the date. Does Leo still remember things that far back clearly? He knows he does, but his memory has always been exceptional-]
[Oh]
[His hands trace over the words. That's right. Leo had brought up sign language. It had been a smart idea. Probably smarter than he realized it would be at the time.]
[He had known language. He could understand what people said, but getting the thoughts in his head out of his mouth had been fruitless for the longest time. But when he started to make the words with his hands, they started to come out of his mouth.]
[There's droplets of water on the page and he had to close it lest he ruin the pages, rubbing at his eyes. He hates this. There are too many feelings this past week, and the emotions keeping bubbling out in tears. He's been crying more in the last week than...well, okay, there had been a lot of tears post Kraang from the stress of it all.]
[But the months after that wasn't so much.]
[He holds the book close for a few moments. He had to find Leo. Leo always found him. Was always there and supporting him. He should have been doing the same. He is going to do the same.]
[With rubs hard at his eyes and sets down the book.]
[The circulation desk is empty, with no real indication of what order the books are in. But there is a sign on the desk with an arrow pointing up: Prison Dimension, one arrow pointing back to the elevator shaft: To Metro Tower Atrium.
And then one more sign: QUIET OR SECURITY BATS WILL BE NOTIFIED.]
[The book makes a loud THUD as it hits the eye, which closes tight with an inhuman squeal.
The bats are coming. They're quick, and while they really are just the security bats, they do have some Bits of goop on them. But they're going to reach for Donnie, and carry him away.]

[Though]
[Huh, fun tricking people?]
[That is a phase he's gonna have to Think On.]
[Let's get another book, he's gonna get those five at least-]

[Probably more Kraang Belos monsters.]
[Anything stand out on the shelves, or is it just more Krang Belos goop being everywhere?}
