[One last push up and he's up back on the previous floor. Its like he's stepped into a completely different space. Edges of the illusion can't fit completely around the enclosed space.
The entire room is dark, but looks like the echo of a high school hallway. Lockers and fluorescent lights flickering overhead. Mysterio is disappearing and reappearing as Peter tries to stay out of the reach of his blsats.
Peter, the actual Peter, hits the floor hard with a yelp. He's dressed in his normal clothing, jeans, t-shirt, and a flannel shirt that has gotten more than a little torn up.
He rolls onto his feet awkwardly, trying to avoid another locker trying to crash into him. His connection to Leo's ninpo pulses, which alerts Peter to the fact he isn't alone. His gaze snaps in his boyfriend's direction immediately.]
[Peter is relieved when Leo just drops down next to him. He reaches out to touch his boyfriend, and confirm that he's real. The pulse of their shared connection to the ninpo is a relief. A relief Peter wants to hold onto as Mysterio remains out of sight.
Green fog continues rolling in, lockers rattling around them as lights sway overhead. The stale air around them smells like a highschool even in passing. Peter can't help but try to focus on Leo more to ground himself.]
Stay with me. [It's his immediate answer, just glancing around. He closes his eyes, leaning into his spider-sense.
He lets go of his hold on Leo to rise to his feet swiftly and take a wild swing at the air near to the right of them.
His fist connects with something metallic. The crashing of his fist breaking through the metal is loud. Sparks fly as Peter snaps his hand back, gritting his teeth somewhat. He shakes it off quickly as he can as something drops nearby, still out of sight.
He probably burned his hand in the process, but he'll manage. He opens his eyes to look at Leo again.]
So, we're going to try something really weird. But go with me here. So we can both see.
I can kind of see past some of this with my spider sense.
[He pulls at their ninpo loosely, pouring some of his own abilities through to Leo.
When the turtle closes his eyes, he'll 'see' rippling outlines making a web across the floor and walls defining the space more clearly, like a dark hallway being lit.
It also makes the drones flying around them all the more obvious.
The prickling sense of danger is palatable, like something creeping against the back of his neck. A warning that doesn't cease.]
[This is all Peter, so Leo's taking his cues from him. But the warning is good. Seeing what he's doing - punching air and hitting mechanical something - has Leo taking some mental notes. All right... Okay.]
Got it.
[He braces himself for the shared ninpo and. Oh, that's very interesting. Is this how it is for Peter but like. All the time? Leo would probably go insane after a while, but it's useful for now. He already does enough with vibrations that this just adds on to it, the parts that he can't feel when things are floating around in the air.]
Got a specific plan of attack you want, or can I just go?
Go for it. [Peter says readily. Just reaching out a brief hand to touch his boyfriend's arm. He keeps having to just confirm that Leo is real.
His sense of reality is warped at this point. He just wants to hold onto Leo desperately. He has to force himself to draw back. The drones are circling them, and at this point both teenagers can likely feel it.]
[Leo looks to Peter when he hears that. I trust you. Such a rare sentiment and even rarer words directed to him these days. But it bolsters his spirit, their connection together, and Leo smiles.
Then his grin widens as he looks out around them at the drones he can't see but can feel.]
All right, you heard the man! Time to party! [And he'll dash forward, sinking to his knees to slide under the first drone and slice his blade up through the bottom of it with a loud crackle of electric circuitry.]
[Peter laughs a little as his boyfriend takes off, the first laugh Peter's had all day since he got caught up in this.
The drone flickers into view, visible to the naked eye as the electricity crackles and it breaks apart.
What rush of victory Peter feels is short lived as the remaining drones shift formation, breaking into pairs to swing at the teenagers. The drones open fire on both of them. Peter trusts Leo will be okay. Peter ducks under the array of bullets, charging forward at the drones. The pair focused on him try to outmaneuver him, but one is grabbed by the teenager and pitched into a nearby wall.
With drones being broken the illusion isn't holding as cleanly as it should. The two can likely hear amongst the gunfire Quentin Beck's voice raised.]

Leo! Hey! Uh- this is happening a lot right now!?

Peter!
[Half a second and he's next to him in a grasp of ozone and light, kneeling down to him, ninpo pulsing back at him.]
Yeah, this is a lot! Tell me where you need me, I'm here.
