[Leo definitely hears Peter walking through, looks his direction as his boyfriend gets into the door. He smiles tiredly back, shifting on the beanbag to make space.]
Who would I be if I said no to you? [Just smiling tiredly and resting his head against Peter's. It's... still a relief to feel him nearby against him.]
It's been a... really long day. I figure it's better to ask, you know? [He just relaxes comfortably into Leo. For now, Peter just wants to forget about the rest of the day. Hell, the last month or two.]
I was gonna ask, if it's okay, if I could stay with you tonight. [Honestly, Peter isn't sure which adult will be mildly scandalized by it, but he doesn't particularly care.]
... Yeah, it has been. And duh? Yes, you're staying with me tonight. [Who the fuck cares what adult will be scandalized? Leo's going to make sure Peter's safe and here and in one piece and know he's cared about in whatever ways he can, up to and including curling up with him in bed for the night.]
Okay, good, that- makes me feel better. [He answers with a relieved kind of exhale, just curling a little more into Leo. They have been dating long enough that just cohabitating feels more easing in a lot of ways.]
I guess when things are calmer, we can probably grab more of my stuff from the apartment later.
