I guess they realized we weren't going to commit any other crimes, so yeah. [Well, not any obvious crimes. Peter can guess Donnie just does whatever he wants.] Do you wanna do it today or... are you busy?

['Yet', Leo thinks to himself.]

I am the most free schedule ever. Nothing planned. Not a thought except this now.

[Peter laughs a little at that.] Do we wanna google any the movies playing before we go? Or are we going to just take a chance?

[neonleon]

Take it by chaaaance, have a little fun with lady luck here.

[heyunderoos]

I think I can handle that. If it is bad, it'll at least be kinda funny too. [He's relaxing now, loosening up from his nerves he built up over the past week or so of figuring things out.] Are we just picking a place to eat randomly, or is it pizza take out?

Pick a place, your choice.

Let's say... some place we can grab burgers and go. So we don't have to stay out too long. It's always crazy with people on Valentine's day. [That feels like a plan. A decent one at that. Peter doesn't want Leo to be feel trapped in the glamour forever. Peter likes Leo as Leo in the first place.]

Great, we'll do this plan, best plan, making it happen.

[Honestly? He appreciates it. Not that he's not super down to look like his dad as a human, but it's ... weird to think about.]

[heyunderoos]

Should I- change? [He looks down at himself, trying to guess if this is like date material clothing or not.] To be honest, I've never been on a date before.

[neonleon]

Oh lit, me neither. We'll do great, absolute pogchamps.

[He looks Peter over and then shrugs.] No idea, but wear whatever's comfortable.

[Peter snorts a little at use of pogchamps, still just smiling at Leo.]

Okay, maybe... a nicer shirt- I think I have one? [He has to think about it, but shakes his head, just extending the chocolate he pilfered out to Leo.] Right, I- grabbed these for you too.

[neonleon]

What? Seriously?

[No one just?? Gives him things? Usually there's some trick to it, or gimmick. Nothing is ever freely given. Though he guesses the trick here is he goes on a date. Leo take the chocolates almost reverently and just holds them for now.]

Thanks. I, um. I'll- [Wait he should like. Figure something out to give to him. Right? That's how it works right???]

[Peter blinks a little, shaking his head.]

Oh- no, it's- you don't have to. I just wanted to make sure you got candy with the card. I didn't have time to make you candy, but I got these at least.

Ohmigosh, you were going to MAKE me candy?

[Eat shit Donnie, Leo's winning a game Don didn't even know was being played.]

Yeah, hopefully, that's... not weird? Or too much? [How do date, how do romance? The question that leaves everyone guessing.]

Later, maybe in a day or two we could... try to make it together? If you wanna I mean. [He is trying to vaguely set up date two already.]

[Leo's only got what he's seen in movies and heard from April so it's not like he knows any better.]

Absolutely, let's do that. I've never done that before.

[heyunderoos]

I'll start getting stuff together, so it's gonna be like actual chocolates, or at least a chocolate themed disaster. [Peter jokes a little with a soft laugh.]

[neonleon]

Chocolate themed disaster is still chocolate. I'm down.

[heyunderoos]

[Peter releases a soft laugh at that.] Good, I have a feeling we're going to have fun. Just maybe burn a little bit of chocolate.

[Peter isn't unaware some disasters will unfold when they're figuring that out.]

What time do you wanna go to the movie? [Peter is debating if he should change into something actually nice.]

Oh. Uh.

[Wait he should get that stupid glamor disguise thing ADI gave them, and probably the clothes Rue made for him.] Uuhhh I dunno? When is something playing? What are we seeing, I mean.

[heyunderoos]

That is- a good question. [Peter answers back, patting his pockets before finding his cellphone. He produces it easily enough, starting to look up local movies.]

It's not quite Jupiter Jim or Star Wars but... there is a sci-fi movie playing later this afternoon. The theater is doing some weird old sci-fi movie marathon of some kind, the one today is called- Time Bandits? [Peter squints a little down at the screen.] I think its meant to be funny-? The poster just looks weird.

[neonleon]

Yeah? All right, I'm down. Never heard of it but I'll give it a go, and if it's bad we can just make fun of it the whole time.

[heyunderoos]

That's kind of the fun part of sci-fi movies, they're either super compelling or absolutely weird enough you can make fun of it. [It feels like safe date material for both of them, opposed to a horror movie which or anything along those lines.

He glances back down at his phone to check the show times.] The next showing we can probably make is like at 2:00, does that work?

[It gives them both time to get mildly ready.]

[neonleon]

[He glances at the time on his own phone and nods.]

Yep, perfect, we will- Definitely make this happen, it's gonna be great, no sweat.

[He is going to sweat so hard.]

Meet you at your place?

[heyunderoos]

Yeah, yeah, it's- [He is turning a little pink now.] It's gonna be really great.

[He nods a little too hard probably, making his curls bounce in the gesture.] Yeah, I'll- see you there, then we'll go out. On our date.

[He hesitates, obviously reluctant to go. Peter manages to get himself moving. He steps back from Leo's dorm apartment door, forcing himself to actually walk.]

I better go, I mean, I gotta- get ready, I'll see you!

[There he goes!

Still peeking at Leo a little.]
