That weird temple wasn't good, but it wasn't the worst. Not by far now that he's back in this dimension. He floats a bit aimlessly, body broken, shell cracked and falling apart, some bones and insides shattered. His head aches in a way that he can't think.

All he can really do is hope Prime doesn't find him immediately right now. The light off his ring catches his eye and he looks at it, not fully registering that it's lit up.

Oh.

[There's something... endearing about that. And if it weren't for his arm, he'd almost find it jokingly-insulting. Leo smiles and opens the door for them.]

Well... I'll be here when you're ready then.

[pyrighteous]

[ Lucky leans up and gives Leo a lil kiss on the cheek. Then skitters away to go back to the hutch for now. ]

He should be back right after dinner. But he's been there the longest so... the others look up to him.

[OH HIS HEART...]

Yeah? They'll probably be happy he found someone to look after. I'll do my best.

[pyrighteous]

Oh yeah. Everyone's gonna be thrilled.

[ He holds out a hand for Leo again and heads for the kitchen, where Dell is making dinner. ]

[Okay he does feel a little self conscious about Dell seeing him now, even with the loose shirt covering the stub. But he takes Hunter's hand to follow with him.]

Um. Thanks, Hunts.

[ Dell looks up as they come in and ... ah. That expression as he sees Leo's stump is very soft and sad. But he doesn't comment directly. ]

"Welcome home, boys. I'm glad to see you safe."

[ Hunter leads Leo to the table. ]

Same, um. Good to be back.

Yeah. Thanks for letting me stay again.

[He's so glad that Dell doesn't say anything else about it, even as he takes his seat at the table.]

Hunter said you worked hard on this meal, I'm- uh. Really looking forward to it.

[pyrighteous]

[ Dell chuckles. ]

"It's just palisman bread and roasted vegetables. Nothing that special."

[ But look, the bread is shaped like adorable lil birds. ]

[They're obviously the cutest thing here that he's seen and something Dell put effort into.]

[ Dell laughs a little. ]

"Okay, maybe a little special. Eat up."

[ Hunter gladly digs in, though he eyes Leo to see if he needs help. ]

[Thankfully soup is easy enough one-handed. He feels admittedly a little embarrassed bringing a whole piece of bread up to bite into but what else can he do there? He's making it though, the time at the hospital having helped him prepare.]

"Of course."

[ Dell watches Leo too, quiet. ]

"I hope you two are planning to rest for a while. You've been through a lot." [ A little concern crosses his face ... beacause Hunter and Leo are really pretty calm, aren't they? ] "More than just this incident."

[neonleon]

[Leo watches him as he finishes chewing that bite, then looks at Hunter. He swallows before looking back to Dell.]

Rest and I'm gonna help Hunter with a more lowkey project he's working on. Won't be that big a strain.

[pyrighteous]

Y-yeah. We're just going to -

[ He realizes at the last second that "low key" and "sorting all the dead remains of my brothers" might not match up for Dell. ]

It'll be quiet. Yeah. Promise. Neither of us like sitting still for long.

I go a lil stir crazy, you know? And I still wanna see more of the Boiling Isles, so we'll just take a short tour.

[He doesn't wanna worry Dell with too much, his natural obfuscation of probably not the best facts peaking again.]

[ Dell relaxes a little at that. ]

"It is a beautiful place. And Hunter here is an excellent flyer."

Y-yeah, uh. Exactly. We just need some space.

What I've seen so far is really great. I wanna see it all.

But... [He looks to Hunter, like gauging things.] Rest tonight, I think?

[pyrighteous]

Rest tonight! Definitely.

[ Dell nods, then, approving. ]

"Good. No chores, all right? I'll mind the hutch."

[neonleon]

You sure?

[The hutch seemed easy enough to handle and not be considered a 'chore'.]

I'm sure we could at least do that...

[pyrighteous]

"Well. Visit if you want to. But I'll do the cleaning."

Really serious about that...

[It's more an observation than anything but Leo focuses back on his soup. He's glad for the good food, really. He's spent too much of his time here at the hospital altogether.]

We'll probably have to go get Lucky anyway.

[ Dell perks up. ]

"Oh? Has he bonded with you?"

Um... Something? Like that? He said he had to tell the others in the hutch goodbye.

[pyrighteous]

"... I'm so glad. He's been here longer than any of the others."

[ Dell beams at Leo. ]

[That kind of prideful beaming at him feels unwarranted, given everything that's happened. Leo watches Dell before turning his eyes down to his bowl. Food almost finished but-]

He stayed with me at the hospital the whole time with Hunter, so..
