We apparently have the weirdest versions of New York. [He's half tempted to ask a few questions when he hears the very distinct sound of hooves against pavement.
That is definitely a skeletal horse emerging from the alley the two are starting to pass.]
Oh my god- [Peter does not want horse, he takes an awkward step back. He holds the pizza box awkwardly, half afraid of it being knocked out of his grasp. ] We have pizza, Mr. or Ms. Horse can we- just go?
[Sure, its a skeletal horse, but it's staring. It is so staring.]
...Are you two competing via the horse? [He has to ask, actively baffled. The horse is ignoring him. This is his life.
The horse re-focuses its attention on Leo primarily.]

[Peter blinks a little, before looking back at the skeletal horse.
The horse seems pleased. It stomps a hoof, shaking out its hair. It brays with laughter. The sound makes Peter's skin crawl. Anxiety is creeping along his spine as he grips at the pizza box.] Yes, good!

[Surprise, the horse is not done!]
Armored but not a knight, snapping but not a twig, and always at home, even on the move. What am I?
Leo, I'm not a riddle person, at least not this kind of riddle!? If it was math or science related, I'd get it. [He practically hisses at the other teenager.
The horse is just staring at him. That is just amplifying his anxiety by tenfold. Peter does not like any of this. It taps its hooves impatiently against the pavement.]

[Peter manages to keep the pizza box balanced against his chest, finding his web shooter with a clumsy gesture. He flicks out a web cartridge from the chamber. He's done the gesture one handed before, so he at least can accomplish that.
The glass is steady under his fingertips. That much solidifies what he's doing as he follows through the motion, muscle memory kicking in.
He throws the cartridge down onto the ground at the horse's hooves. The undead manifestation startles but its hooves are stuck to the ground. It practically shrieks in anger as Peter grabs onto Leo's arm yanking him forward to start running.]
