That weird temple wasn't good, but it wasn't the worst. Not by far now that he's back in this dimension. He floats a bit aimlessly, body broken, shell cracked and falling apart, some bones and insides shattered. His head aches in a way that he can't think.

All he can really do is hope Prime doesn't find him immediately right now. The light off his ring catches his eye and he looks at it, not fully registering that it's lit up.

[ his voice drops to a whisper. ]

[Oh.... He moves a little to wrap an arm around him loose.]

[ hunter leans in. ]

[Leo shifts back a little to look at Hunter again.]

I think it did help back at the temple, yeah. [He really doesn't know. But he hopes that's the case here.]

Then it’s good I’ll be in the same bed with you tonight.

[ He manages a weak smile. ]

[He smiles gently at that, bunts his forehead to Hunter's for a second.]

Yeah, it is good. Just gotta do Dell Dinner, right? Lemme- get up.

[he haaates lettering go but he's gotta if he wants to get to his feet.]

[ Hunter offers him a hand. [

Yeah. We can take it easy. Dell will understand.

We can just say it's because I'm nervous meeting him.

[Not that he thinks anyone would judge him still being tired and out of it having just been let out of he hospital. But somehow admitting it is the problem.

He takes Hunter's hand to squeeze softly.]

Lead the way?

[ Hunter clings to him. ]

Just downstairs. You want to blink?

[neonleon]

[He doesn't know if his stomach and insides can handle it, but it might be easier for Hunter.]

Yeah, way faster.

[pyrighteous]

A-all right. Hold on, then.

[ Mostly he's afraid of Leo falling on the stairs so. He takes in a deep breath and blinks them down to a dining room area, where there's a table laid out with delicious smelling soups and breads. Dell is still in the kitchen. ]

[The blink almost gets him off kilter, tightening his arm around him as he gets his feet once they're downstairs. It was just shy of too much. But he's steady and pats Hunter's back once he's steady on his feet and sees the whole spread.]

Wow. You guys don't play around.

[pyrighteous]

Well - no. He really wanted to welcome you. And he's glad to have me back too.

[ Hunter helps Leo sit down somewhere. ]

[Well now he's REALLY gotta not fuck this up. He does take his seat though.]

Bet everyone's glad you're back.

[pyrighteous]

[ In comes Dell lugging a pot of thick, nutty-smelling stew. ]

“You aren’t responsible for any of that, Hunter.”

[neonleon]

Agreed. This guy gets it.

[Instant, not even questioning who this guy is but he's got a pot of good smelling stew there.]

[ Dell laughs at that and settles down. ]

“You must be Leonardo, right? I’m Dell. ]

[neonleon]

[Oh right introductions. He gets nervous all over again.]

Um. Y-yeah, I'm, uh. Leo's fine.

[pyrighteous]

“Leo then. It’s good to have you here.”

[ Dell smiles at him. ]

“I’ve heard so much about you.”

[neonleon]

[Parental aged authority figure...]

I am sooooo sorry about whatever you heard.

[pyrighteous]

[ Dell blinks at him? This looks like genuine confusion. Hunter speaks up: ]

I-I've said good things! Only good things!

[ Dell laughs now. ]

"You seem like a spirited turtle on the whole. Hunter here could use some of that."

[Leo keeps being surprised when he finds out people only talk positively about him, after everything he's done. He watches Hunter before looking at Dell again, still nervous.]

Been trying to be good for him where I can.

[pyrighteous]

[ Hunter is VERY genuine, and so is Dell. They like you! For some reason!

Dell laughs. ]

“The fact that you’re thinking about it is good enough. Come now, let’s eat.”
