That weird temple wasn't good, but it wasn't the worst. Not by far now that he's back in this dimension. He floats a bit aimlessly, body broken, shell cracked and falling apart, some bones and insides shattered. His head aches in a way that he can't think.

All he can really do is hope Prime doesn't find him immediately right now. The light off his ring catches his eye and he looks at it, not fully registering that it's lit up.

[He takes the hand, tugging Hunter up and into a tight hug. Mouse was usually safe. No one hates Mouse.

No punishments. They're fine. He exhales gently against Hunter's shoulder before lifting him up and spinning him once as the others step up.]

That game was SO cool though! Haven't gotten to see you fly like that before.

[ Hunter flails gently at the spin. ]

You ABSOLUTELY do. [Just carefully sets Hunter back down in front of him. Gus gets very close as he does, inspecting the turtle all around.]

"So what makes you, a turtle demon from the human realm, different from a turtle demon from here?"

[Leo chuckles once.] Well for a start, I'm- [right the whole mutant magic thing] way better looking than any you got here.

[ From across the field, the rival turtle demon glares. Points at his eyes. Points back at Leo. ]

... It's true, you are way better looking than he is.

While I definitely think you're biased, I also won't say you're wrong.

[Leo is just BEAMING at Hunter, reaching to drape his arm over Hunter's shoulders.]

[ Hunter gladly leans down a bit at that. ]

See, Gus? He does look a little different.

[Gus does not look completely convinced.] "Hmm.... Maaaaaybe. But I'll need to spend some more time around him to really know for sure."

Oh uh. I think that'll work out, I'm coming to dinner Friday?

"Oh! Then that will be perfect."

Yeah! I think he's met almost everyone now, but it can be official at dinner. I'm really excited.

"Me too! She didn't say what she was making this time. Said she wanted it to be a surprise." [He shoots Leo an obvious glance before looking at Hunter again.] "So it's GOTTA be something good."

... Really? I mean, everything she makes is good, so this has to be incredible...

"It's gotta be!"

[At least Gus is excited, enough Leo chuckles a little at him. Willow is staring at Leo the whole time, like.... judging? A little judging. And clutching her staff pretty tight.]

Not gonna lie, the food here is great, but I haven't had food from home in a really long time. So I'm looking forward to it.

We do pretty good pizza here. But human realm pizza is delicious too.

[Leo blinks at that. It's something he's known he'll have to figure out.]

I- I dunno yet. It sounds like there's some good back and forth option? Depends on a few things I'll find out when we go over there.

[ Oh. Hunter ... hadn't quite thought of that either? He's suddenly achingly torn. ]

Y-yeah, it's - pretty easy now! We can go back and forth tons. Just like visiting another part of the Isles. We don't have to decide yet.

[Sorry, Hunter, He was going to think about it for a while before bringing it up in a few weeks. He gives Hunter's shoulder a reassuring squeeze.]

[ Hunter leans into that. ]

... Yeah. We will. The Human Realm is pretty nice, honestly.

[Gus looks over at Willow when he hears the palistrom wood creak in her grip before she relents with a smile.]

"Well, if you decide the human world is better and you want to stay there, just let us know!"

Um. Yeah, sure. I- We'll see.

[Leo is picking up on something here and he hopes it's not jealousy. He'll die.]

W-well if Leo decides to stay in the Human Realm I'll stay with him!

Gonna depend if my family's even there, and even then it'll be a discussion we all have together.

[Just. Firm on that. He isn't going to ask Hunter to uproot himself and if his family's not there, then there's no point to it right? He lets out a heavy breath and watches Willow for a second before she turns to leave.]

"I'm gonna go change and see my dads." [Gus watches her before he seems to remember he was still wearing his uniform too.]

"Right, uh. Me too. Changing, I mean."

[ He peeks down at his own uniform. ]

I guess I'm kinda dirty too after that last dive. You ready to head back to Dell's?

Sure! Yeah, uh. I guess we'll see everyone else at dinner Friday?

[That's.. fine right? He isn't being a weird high school homewrecker is he? Either way he'll start walking with Hunter.]

[ Still oblivious, Hunter reaches to take Leo's hand. ]

They're adjusting. It'll take a little bit.

[He easily takes Hunter's hand in his own, walking with him steady now.]

I know. Hhhhhopefully I'm not causing any problems.
