That weird temple wasn't good, but it wasn't the worst. Not by far now that he's back in this dimension. He floats a bit aimlessly, body broken, shell cracked and falling apart, some bones and insides shattered. His head aches in a way that he can't think.

All he can really do is hope Prime doesn't find him immediately right now. The light off his ring catches his eye and he looks at it, not fully registering that it's lit up.

Most of them? Big, loud. Hate our family because they're greedy jerks stealing from people and we usually stop them.

Most of 'em are harmless beyond that, some of them don't care if they hurt humans. Hypno and the... worm? Whatever with him just kinda goof around.

[Don't mind him cuddling up closer against him, even if he keeps scratching at the bandage here and there. Itch sated, he tugs Hunter closer against him.]

[ He frowns a bit at the scratching, peering at Leo’s arm. ]

Maybe one of these nights I can't sleep, give us a long conversation to have.

[But the concern gets his attention and he glances at the bandages.]

Itches, mostly. healers said I'll have to come back in a few days for them to take another look before they take all the bandages off.

[ Hunter leans in a little closer. ]

Wish you could take them off now. They LOOK itchy.

They are itchy. Pretty normal for dealing with dead skin and new skin. One of the few times I'll listen to someone when they tell me not to do something.

[For most things Leo doesn't care. But medical? Sure he'll listen.]

Maybe we could still put some salve on it?

...Maybe? If you've got clean bandage wraps to rewrap it with.

[ he moves to drag a small box out from under his bed. ]

I uh. Keep nicking my fingers when carving so.

[Well that's no bueno. But he moves to sit next to Hunter while he gets all that out. And after a minute, starts carefully unwrapping his arm from the shoulder.]

We'll make sure to restock because this is a lot of to use.

[pyrighteous]

Yeah. But it'll be fine. Dell will help us get more.

[ Hunter reaches out to assist with that! Gently drawing them away from Leo's arm. ]

I'll make it up to him.

[The arm itself looks a little better than it did at the temple. The acid burns are still there, but not as prominent. Small bits of dead skin are starting to peel away from the ridges of scarring, especially where his unharmed skin at the shoulder meets. But there is an odd discoloration happening - a deeper blueish purple. Probably just part of the healing process.]

I didn't really look at it while they were working.

[ Huhhh. That ... looks a bit gross to be honest. Hunter leans in a bit, peering at the discolored spots. ]

Wow, you really turn weird colors while you're healing.

Green skin and scales.

[Now he's looking at it and... It's definitely weird. But then again, he'd never gotten acid burns before the temple, so he doesn't have much to base it on.]

It's probably fine.

Well - yeah, true. I just wouldn't have expected purple, I guess.

[neonleon]

What would you have expected?

[He holds his arm out now so Hunter can get the rest. The coloration just gets worse in the meat of his arm down the fingers.]

Maybe more blue? Dark green? Though I guess your blood is red huh ...

[ He winces at how bad it looks the further down it goes. ]

I think this is gonna scar pretty badly.

[He glances down at the arm, a bit more seriously.]

Yeah, probably. Surprised it hadn't already to be honest.

[ Hunter reaches out to take Leo’s injured hand gently. ]

However it ends up looking… it’ll be okay.

[neonleon]

[Leo smiles gently at him, carefully closing his hand around Hunter's.]

It will be. You helped a lot.

[ He grips Leo’s hand more firmly in turn. ]
