[It's a good laugh. It's a laugh Leo would do a lot of things to keep going, make sure Peter always laughs like that.

Distracted enough by it that he doesn't see Peter scooching closer, nor get in his space for that quick kiss to his nose-

[Peter settles back down, just smiling at Leo. He picks up his own slice again to actually eat it.]

Sorry, if that was too much. [Seeing Leo being shy makes Peter feel a little more emboldened.] I just... I like you.

No, uh. It's- Fine. One hundo percent, perfectly fine.

[He giggles a little. He just eats his pizza, polishing off the slice easily.]

Maybe- after we can- you know? Kiss too?

[Peter is hopeful for that.]

It's pretty hard to beat free food. [He jokes quietly back, slowly trying to warm back up.] Even if April probably did it to ensure we'd stay here and talk.

Oh, that is absolutely what she did and that's why I'm making her pay for it.

Admitting it worked to her means she's going to be really pleased with herself later. [April will that specific level of smugness only a sibling can achieve. Peter is learning the ins and outs from this family.

Both are mildly unaware the rest of the Hamato clan are betting on the date now.]

She will be. You'll have to deal with that more than me though, you're her classmate.

[But yeah he has no idea about the ongoing bet happening in the Hamato household as they speak.]

Technically, she's in a grade above mine. So, I'll have to deal with it at lunch, and Ned will freak out. [Peter has no idea how he'll navigate that aspect of things.] MJ was acting a little weird, so, I'll get some reprieve there maybe.

[Peter is also oblivious to that MJ has a crush on him. That will be equally fun to navigate.]

[Just taking another bite of his pizza finally now that all that is settled. But MAN he is just! Thrilled.]

A lot of it is going to be good stuff we're going to figure out. [He is equally thrilled. Also just taking on another slice of pizza.]

What to do for a second date? Does patrolling count as a date? [The Thrilledness will not go away, good luck, Leo.]

[Good because it's not going anywhere from him either.]

So, it means we'll have more patrols to ourselves then. We can hold hands after kicking butt. [The romance is high bar here. Peter is really fond of the idea though, given his expression.] Maybe we can actually hunt down a food truck without it exploding.
