That weird temple wasn't good, but it wasn't the worst. Not by far now that he's back in this dimension. He floats a bit aimlessly, body broken, shell cracked and falling apart, some bones and insides shattered. His head aches in a way that he can't think.

All he can really do is hope Prime doesn't find him immediately right now. The light off his ring catches his eye and he looks at it, not fully registering that it's lit up.

[It's cute. And so undeniably Hunter, Leo can't help but smile at that. It reminds him tangentially of Hunter's room by the end of their time at the temple, but better in a way. Because here? Hunter has virtually no limits.

Leo takes it all in before looking at Hunter again, setting the basket down on the floor by the bed.]

It's- it's so you.

[pyrighteous]

Yeah?

[ Hunter goes a lil pink. ]

I - uh - I hope you like it. I know it's a little crowded for both of us but...

[neonleon]

I mean, not like I have anything to fill it up with. [He pats the basket next to him.] Just what you've given me.

It'll be great. We'll find a spot for these.

[pyrighteous]

We'll definitely find a spot for those! I need to move some of this downstairs anyway...

[ He moves to gather up some of the half-finished palismen and crafting supplies. ]

Can I help?

[Normally he'd just say whatever and let someone else do the clean up, but it's Hunter. He wants to help. Leo's up and on his feet again ready to help pick things up.]

[pyrighteous]

I mean - you can but - you should still rest, Leo.

[neonleon]

...Right. Yeah.

[He rubs at his bandaged arm a little before scratching at the edge of the wrappings at his shoulder.]

Resting is. Definitely important.

[pyrighteous]

Y-yeah. Exactly.

So - why don't you put these extra things into boxes while I haul up the rest of our stuff?

[neonleon]

Sure. Will do.

[Leo hesitates before reaching to tug Hunter close for a quick kiss.]

[pyrighteous]

[ aw - Hunter gladly leans in to return it then. ]

I'll be back soon.

[neonleon]

[Okay he feels a little better with that. Didn't feel right trying to smooch his fiancé in the hospital or in front of his mentors.]

I'll get this all cleaned up.

[pyrighteous]

Sounds like a plan!

[ And there's an audible blink as Hunter teleports downstairs. ]

[neonleon]

[Leo smiles watching him go. Then takes a breath and sighs a little before starting to try cleaning up. He keeps himself pretty busy even if he's still exhausted but by the time Hunter gets back, a lot of the things picked up and set aside, put on whatever shelves he can together.

But Leo's taken to just... laying on the bed almost out of breath.]

Oh my goddddd I forgot how bad it sucks to be laid up like this.

[pyrighteous]

[ Hunter finds teleporting WITH stuff to be a bit of a pain, so he drags the boxes up manually. When he returns and finds Leo laid out on the bed - and not in immediate danger, phew - he smiles down at him softly. ]

I told you. It's gonna take a while.

[neonleon]

[Leo cracks one eye open up at him.]

Okay, so you did. But just need a lil time and I'll be back up in no time.

[pyrighteous]

Orrrr you could take however much time you need, you know. No rush.

[ He sets the box down and then flops on the bed next to Leo. ]

I'm not exactly good at 'slow'. Dunno how that works.

[pyrighteous]

Despite being a turtle?

That's the irony of the whole thing, y'know? It's how I catch my enemies off guard.

[pyrighteous]

[ Hunter laughs a little at that. ]

No enemies here though. Just me and Dell and the forest.

[neonleon]

Still got my enemies back home though...

[pyrighteous]

Well - yeah. We'll go back to those eventually.

[neonleon]

['Eventually'... Leo rolls over to flop an arm across Hunter.]

We will. You'll think they're hilarious, after everything we've been through? They're like clowns.

[pyrighteous]

[ He cuddles into that. ]

Really? What are they like? Other than clowns.

[neonleon]

Most of them? Big, loud. Hate our family because they're greedy jerks stealing from people and we usually stop them.
