[Peter snorts in amusement at that. He idly strokes his thumb against the back of Leo's knuckles, the gesture new and exciting as everything else.] Yeah, fair. I'm just gonna watch, since I know you have it handled.

The real question is if your brothers know too, or she left them in the dark?

[He squeezes Leo's hand back and tries to let go. He draws his hand back and... takes Leo's with him in the gesture.]

I'm- so sorry, I- [He practically squeaks out the apology, unsticking from the booth to sink into himself.] I'm- spider, sticky.

[BOY THAT SURE IS SOMETHING.

As soon as Leo realizes what's happening, he loosens up, lets Peter drag his hand around however he needs until he's loose. But he's smiling, laughing a little even.]

It's fine, it's fine. No big deal.

[Leo got to watch Peter's expressions flicker between confusion, surprise, horror, and panic in a moments notice whilst struggling to not make a huge deal out of being stuck.]

I- okay. I swear, I don't stick to stuff randomly. [Peter, he's known you for months at this point, he's aware.

He's still blushing, but manages a tiny nervous smile back.] But- uh, pizza, pizza is good.

[Sorry, if Peter looks over, Leo is just staring at him dumbstruck and absolutely smitten.]

I know. And the pizza is good, so definitely go in on that.

[Seeing that look on Leo's face makes Peter laugh a little. His blush starts to fade.] Yeah, pizza- Here.

[He grabs the first slice, placing it on one of the serving plates. Miraculously he didn't stick! A victory!

He pushes the plate towards Leo. His smile warms up further, just a little lovestruck.]

[He's just! Staring at Peter, watching him with that smile until the plate is shoved at him.

Oh, he was - gonna get his own but. He'll slide the plate closer.]

Thanks... I, um. For the record? I'm glad this worked out.

Yeah, me too. I've... liked you for a while. [He manages to get his own slice to work on.]

You're really cute, and funny, and... [He's going to silence himself by taking a bite of pizza.]

[He was halfway through a bite himself but stops when Peter stops.]

[He hadn't expected Leo to ask a follow-up. Peter uses his chewing time to actually find the words.]

and, I've been wanting to just hold your hand for a long time. Like, date you, more than one date I mean. [Ambitious? Yes, but he is clearly smiten.]

[Leo finishes his slice while Peter talks before just. Leaning his chin on his hand, halfway over the table grinning at him.]

[And the blush is back at full force. He shied away from that kind of question from Mikey and April, but actually being able to tell Leo himself feels freeing.]
