That weird temple wasn't good, but it wasn't the worst. Not by far now that he's back in this dimension. He floats a bit aimlessly, body broken, shell cracked and falling apart, some bones and insides shattered. His head aches in a way that he can't think.

All he can really do is hope Prime doesn't find him immediately right now. The light off his ring catches his eye and he looks at it, not fully registering that it's lit up.

[ he PROBABLY got possessed in endgame because that's his life. if he didn't it's because a bunch of people he loved got possessed. ]

I-I'm okay. I'm alive, I wasn't badly hurt. And if ANYTHING is left of Belos, it's trapped in that place now.

[Leo kind of stares at Hunter before laying his head back to stare at the ceiling.]

Let him rot there.

[ Hunter moves to gently lean his head against Leo's good shoulder. ]

Yeah. You know how bad he was too.

[neonleon]

'm not letting him come near you again if he finds a way to break out of that place.

[It's easy to rest his head against Hunter's softly, happy to have him close]

[ He takes in a deep breath. ]

Ori would probably come hunt him down too. Somehow.

[Okay he's sore, but he wraps his good arm around Hunter to hold him closer.]

[ He gladly leans in at that, tucking his head under Leo's chin. ]

I would never have left you in there. No matter how long it took.

[Oh- He settles his chin on Hunter's hair then, happily keeping him close like this.]

So we're even then. We can just - focus on moving forward together.

[pyrighteous]

[ He reaches for Leo’s good hand. ]

[Leo smiles at that, letting Hunter have it and squeezes his hand.]

I love you too, Hunts.

...I'll be all right. And we'll see everything and get through this.

[pyrighteous]

[ He nods carefully. ]

I'll stay with you again tonight, if that's okay.

[neonleon]

[Something in him just sort of melts hearing that and he buries his face in Hunter's shoulder. He'll have to... deal. with his everything at some point. But right now, he's just relieved.]

I'd like that, yeah.

[pyrighteous]

[ Rest isn't just physical, after all. But there's time for both, at least. Hunter just hovers close. ]

Then - yeah. When you're ready to sleep again, I'll turn back into a bird.

[He doesn't know what Hunter's schedule is, but he moves to set the leaf bouquet next to the snapdraglet. And then it's all about settling in cozy.]

Honestly you're a great narrator.

[ Hunter shifts to go grab the book then. Oh sure, he's got things to go back to, but right now? This is the most important thing in the world. ]

Yeah? Really?? My voice doesn't sound annoying?

No way. It's great, and you get really into the characters and describing the action - really great to listen to.

[pyrighteous]

I mean - From someone who tunes Donnie out half the time and misses what a lot of people say, I like listening to you!
