That weird temple wasn't good, but it wasn't the worst. Not by far now that he's back in this dimension. He floats a bit aimlessly, body broken, shell cracked and falling apart, some bones and insides shattered. His head aches in a way that he can't think.

All he can really do is hope Prime doesn't find him immediately right now. The light off his ring catches his eye and he looks at it, not fully registering that it's lit up.

Yeah. Uh - I mean, I like human food? I don't have all of my allergies with human food. But it lacks the rich flavors of stuff like this.

The textures are way different too.

[He does slow down on biting into and chewing the rest of it though, just enjoying it and taking his time.]

Human food's great, love it. Wouldn't trade it. But this and stuff in Hidden City is great too.

Hueso's pizza place, where we always grab the creepy supreme. It's like - in a weird little pocket on the human side, but youkai and mutants all go there.

He makes a lot of other stuff, but pizza's definitely the main draw. I'll take you soon as we can go.

[The problem with Hunter is he's too dang observant. Probably good for Leo, but doesn't make it easier.]

It, uh. They tried, but it got pretty messed up back at the temple.

[It's a second to adjust how he's holding the fairy pie in his good hand, shifting so he can turn and offer the bandaged right hand out to him.]

[ No, but Hunter can see anyway, can't he? The fact that Leo has to adjust in the first place, how slowly he offers out the bandaged right hand ...

Hunter swallows rather thickly. Can the healers actually fix it? ]

Um. I dunno, honestly? Not sure how healing works here, but they're trying.

If you've been through multiple rounds of healing and they're still trying, that's ... pretty bad.

[He sort of sighs a little.]

And since it happened outside the scenarios at the temple, the cultists' healing didn't work on it either.

[ Hunter nods a little. ]

W-well - maybe they'll come up with something. If we can't fix it, no one can.

[He does take his hand back, carefully, methodically closes it in a loose fist. There are probably exercises he could do for it to help, but he doesn't have a way to look them up here. Something to keep in mind when he can get back to New York.]

Y. Yeah. It's good? I did miss home, even if it's weird being here without Belos.

And Darius and I had a good talk.

They're having to completely rebuild the place from the ground up huh?

[More a statement than a real question. With that guy's claws all in the society from who knows how far back, there's no way they can just go back to a week ago. But the mention of Darius has him a little nervous but. Hunter seems pleased.]

You looked up to him a lot right?

Yeah. It's ... good but. It's a lot of work too.

[ Hunter shifts to snag the snapdraglet and set it on Leo's bedside table. ]

He's basically the closest thing I have to a dad here.

[He watches that, seeing the little snapdraglet snap at air again. Donnie would love this lil guy, but he's pretty happy seeing it.]
