That weird temple wasn't good, but it wasn't the worst. Not by far now that he's back in this dimension. He floats a bit aimlessly, body broken, shell cracked and falling apart, some bones and insides shattered. His head aches in a way that he can't think.

All he can really do is hope Prime doesn't find him immediately right now. The light off his ring catches his eye and he looks at it, not fully registering that it's lit up.

[ With that, he blinks back up to Leo's room. ]

[Leo's room that a couple healers are leaving from and smile at Hunter. Leo's sitting up with some cleaned bandages and staring down at his wrapped right hand in thought.

But he smiles when he sees Hunter there.]

Hey! Welcome back to my casa.

[pyrighteous]

Oh! They changed your bandages. How are you feeling?

[ He moves to set his goodies on a table nearby. ]

Better? They're good at what they're doing.

[Just watching that, eyeing the plant as it kinda snaps at the air once it's set down.]

Glad to see you, kinda boring.

[pyrighteous]

Good. They - they really are, aren't they.

[ He moves to snag one of the fairy pies first. ]

I brought you some fresh food too.

[Oh his eyes get a little bigger seeing it, reaching out his good hand to take it.]

Oh man it smells good. What is it?

[pyrighteous]

Fairy pie! Nice and fresh and still wriggling. I got one for me too so we can eat together.

[neonleon]

Oooh, specialty then.

[He smiles even more at that, just... Watching Hunter for now. He really did go above and beyond for Leo to help him. He's gotta return that somehow.]

There a certain way to go at it?

[pyrighteous]

Um - well - you can use a fork, but I like to just bite into it from the side.

[ He does so with an audible crunch. ]

[Not only an audible crunch, but the little high pitched whining sounds of the wings too. Leo can't hear it that well, but it looks good so he does the same, feeling the little wriggling as he chews it.]

The tart isn't what I expected, but it's perfect.

[pyrighteous]

[ Kinda like eating bugs probably! Tasty, tasty bugs. Hunter continues chomping his down gleefully. ]

Yeah? I think you're gonna love a LOT of Boiling Isles food.

[neonleon]

[Just half chewing, sorry he's gross.]

After what you told me about and this? Prob'ly.

[ that's fine. he loves you anyway. ]

Yeah. Uh - I mean, I like human food? I don't have all of my allergies with human food. But it lacks the rich flavors of stuff like this.

The textures are way different too.

[He does slow down on biting into and chewing the rest of it though, just enjoying it and taking his time.]

Human food's great, love it. Wouldn't trade it. But this and stuff in Hidden City is great too.

... Yeah? I wanna try Hidden City food someday too.

[neonleon]

You'll love it, trust me. Can't get better than Run of the Mill.

Hueso's pizza place, where we always grab the creepy supreme. It's like - in a weird little pocket on the human side, but youkai and mutants all go there.

That ... sounds amazing. We don't really have pizza here so ...

He makes a lot of other stuff, but pizza's definitely the main draw. I'll take you soon as we can go.

[ he looks Leo up and down ... and winds up staring at his right arm. ]

[The problem with Hunter is he's too dang observant. Probably good for Leo, but doesn't make it easier.]

It, uh. They tried, but it got pretty messed up back at the temple.

[It's a second to adjust how he's holding the fairy pie in his good hand, shifting so he can turn and offer the bandaged right hand out to him.]
