That weird temple wasn't good, but it wasn't the worst. Not by far now that he's back in this dimension. He floats a bit aimlessly, body broken, shell cracked and falling apart, some bones and insides shattered. His head aches in a way that he can't think.

All he can really do is hope Prime doesn't find him immediately right now. The light off his ring catches his eye and he looks at it, not fully registering that it's lit up.

[Though from the looks of it, the turtle was pretty well dead already once. Maybe more than that if what Hunter said about that temple is true. He does start walking Hunter through the food stalls though if he wants to get anything here on the way back.]

[ OOH. Fresh fairy pie. Hunter nabs two of those to go with the flowers. ]

He's amazing, Darius. You'll see it too.

[Darius has standards, all right. Unlike someone else he knows that he CANNOT seem to get through to UGGHHHH. And then there's Raine. Please let someone he knows have standards.]

Just wait. Once he's awake and healed, he's SO active and friendly and amazing. He makes me laugh! And he pulls out all the stops to help me.

"Still overworking and oblivious to everything else as usual."

[Just. So deadpan. He's trying so hard, Hunter.]

[Just the longest winded sigh ever condensed into one second.]

Well - I mean - if you change your mind? Leo's great at that kind of stuff.

"I don't know if that's better or worse.

[Just ruffling his hair before nudging him inside.]

[ Hunter laughs a little at that. ]

"Yes, yes, I'll come by later to interrogate him."

[But said with all the affection in the world.]

[ With that, he blinks back up to Leo's room. ]

[Leo's room that a couple healers are leaving from and smile at Hunter. Leo's sitting up with some cleaned bandages and staring down at his wrapped right hand in thought.

But he smiles when he sees Hunter there.]

Hey! Welcome back to my casa.

Oh! They changed your bandages. How are you feeling?

[ He moves to set his goodies on a table nearby. ]

Better? They're good at what they're doing.

[Just watching that, eyeing the plant as it kinda snaps at the air once it's set down.]

Glad to see you, kinda boring.

Good. They - they really are, aren't they.

[ He moves to snag one of the fairy pies first. ]

I brought you some fresh food too.

[Oh his eyes get a little bigger seeing it, reaching out his good hand to take it.]

Oh man it smells good. What is it?

Fairy pie! Nice and fresh and still wriggling. I got one for me too so we can eat together.

[neonleon]

Oooh, specialty then.

[He smiles even more at that, just... Watching Hunter for now. He really did go above and beyond for Leo to help him. He's gotta return that somehow.]

There a certain way to go at it?

Um - well - you can use a fork, but I like to just bite into it from the side.
